Meeting the Residents of Phase 1

Tear? Tear! Wake up!

After opening my eyes and remembering that I have the Overseer's gloves on my hands, I immediately forced myself to get up.
Morning Overseer.
I'm still so sleepy. Funny how I've probably slept for ages, yet I'm still so tired. But I can't let myself sleep in again unless I want the Overseer to hurt me using the gloves again.
[Overseer]
Good on you for getting up when I told you to, even if you're still sleepy.
I'm going to cut to the chase today. Today you're going to meeting the twelve residents of Phase 1.
[Tear]
So those people from my music video yesterday... Rouge, Azure, Jordan, Nero, Memento, Pocket, Franklin, Denise, Snow Paw, Aubrey, Lorelai and Victor, if I'm remembering their names correctly.
[Overseer]
Indeed you are remembering their names correctly. Now, we're going to be going in order of their resident numbers. So basically the same order that you just listed their names in.
[Tear]
It's still a bit unsettling that the Overseer can just read my thoughts like that. But that aside, it would be good to finally meet some of the people I'm tasked with getting to know.
[Overseer]
I like the way you think. Now, I'll take you to each Phase 1 resident's rooms and you'll get a chance to speak with each of them briefly one-on-one. With my supervision, of course.
[Tear]
Sorry, but is it alright if I actually get the chance to speak sometimes rather than you reading my thoughts while I'm trying to formulate a response?
[Overseer]
Hehehehe... It's fun to see your reaction to me reading your mind. Very well then, I'll make an effort to not do that to you so much.
[Tear]
Thank you. So, does this mean we're going to Rouge's room first?
[Overseer]
Indeed we are.
[Tear]
I followed the Overseer out of my room and into an elevator. The room I've been sleeping in was on the ground floor.
I looked over to check how many buttons the elevator had. There were a large amount of floors. Maybe at least 100? 150? 200? It was hard to tell from a glance.
Soon, the doors to the elevator closed and the Overseer and I went up to Level 1. I'm guessing that the floors correspond to the Phases of residents, but I can't be sure for now.
